POLE/ZERO CORPORATION
Pole/Zero started in 1989 with state-of-the-art solid-state tunable filters. Since then, they have evolved to produce Integrated Cosite Equipment systems for airborne and shipboard implementation. Pole/Zero focuses on supplying digitally tuned frequency hopping filter modules.

Pole/Zero analyzes, designs, builds and supports interference mitigation and spectral purification solutions for industrial and defense manufacturers and integrators of RF/microwave electronics.
Pole/Zero excels in RF filter and amplifier designs for radio communication. Pole/Zero values creating robust products capable of meeting all the specified performance parameters. My work consisted of test verifications. I tested at the module and system level on numerous product lines. I learned that quality is far superior to a fast turnaround. Another key takeaway was note-taking. Notes are important especially when working on multiple projects in parallel.
THERMALTECH ENGINEERING
ThermalTech Engineering started in 1980. They began as a testing consulting firm and quickly grew into a reliable MEP firm. Today, ThermalTech Engineering specializes in mechanical, electrical, controls and energy management.
ThermalTech Engineering is an MEP consulting firm. ThermalTech values partnerships with corporations. Their mission is to be the sole engineering firm for a client over the entire course of the client's needs. I worked on electrical and lighting layout plans for numerous projects. I assisted in arc flash studies to ensure a safe workplace. I learned that majority of this line of work depends on the National Electric Code and AutoCAD. I also learned to appreciate how important it is to have an organized file management system.
